[TUT] How to Adjust Modem Speed

How to Adjust Modem Speed (Broadband Stick) (TWEAK)

OS: WinXP

1. Start, My Computer (right click), Properties

 
2. at System Properties Dialog Box, Select Hardware tab, Click Device Manager

3. at Device Manager Dialog Box, Click Ports (COM & LPT)

4. then Select your Modem 3G Application Interface, Right Click, Properties, Port Settings, Bit per Second, change it to 128000

4. Select also your 3G PC UI Interface, Right Click, Properties, Port Settings, Bit per Second, change it to 128000

5. Click Ok

6. at Device Manager Dialog Box, Click Modems

7. then Select your 3G Modem, Right Click, Properties

8. at 3G Modem Properties, select Modem Tab, change 

the maximum port speed to maximum...

9. Click Ok
