Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) not exclusive to Flipkart anymore, available on Amazon and Snapdeal

Motorola has finally ended Flipkart’s exclusivity over its Moto E (Gen 2) range of smartphones. In the latest development, the company has collaborated with Flipkart’s rival companies, Amazon and Snapdeal. Not just that, the company will be selling the device via offline channels as well, and in a bid to move the plan, Motorola has partnered with Brightstar for future distribution across India.

Users can now buy the Moto E (Gen 2) 3G and 4G LTE variants via online stores (Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Amazon) and offline stores such as selected Airtel outlets around the country. The handsets are already listed on the company’s official website along with pricing and availability details. Micromax is bringing out many new devices, the company recently unveiled the Canvas Spark 2 at a price tag of Rs. 3,999.

Interestingly, the phone comes in a 16GB storage variant as well, but Asus has not revealed whether it will be launching it in India or not. The Asus Zenfone Go will be available in Ceramic White, Pure Black, and Glamour Red color options. The main drawback of the phone is that it lacks 4G connectivity, which is being provided by other manufacturers at cheaper price tags — such as Moto E (2nd Gen), Panasonic T45, and many more.

Aircel, today announced its network expansion of adding 13000 2G, 3G and 4G sites across the country by December 2015. The plan is in line with the growing demand for mobile telephony services and to offer better customer experience, uninterrupted services and enhanced data speeds.


As part of the plan, Aircel has already rolled out close to 7400 sites this year and has added approximately 2.2 million hours per day of voice capacity and 200TB/day of data capacity to its network. Aircel consistently upgrades and optimizes its existing network to increase capacity, achieve higher efficiency and reduce existing pressure on networks.

Treading the same path as LG’s G series, this one too has power button and volume controller on the rear. The smartphone will be available in Blue Black, Gold, and Silver color options, at a price tag of 399300 Won (US$ 340 / Rs. 22,475 approx.) The device will go on sale in Korea from today onwards. LG has not revealed much about Class’s availability outside Korea, but we hope that the company might launch it in other regions as well.

OnePlus has initiated the roll out of Oxygen OS 2.1.0 OTA update for the OnePlus 2. The company promised the users with this update a month ago and today, it finally pushed it. The update is being rolled out globally, and it is 39MB in size.

The update 2.1.0 is going to get a variety of features and fixes on board, which includes Exchange support, functional improvements, a manual mode for the camera. It also brings along RAW support for third-party camera apps, although many users have reported that it is still not supporting it fully. Following the complaints regarding RAW support, OnePlus has affirmed users that it will try to fix the issue soon.

Xiaomi has taken the wraps off the Mi 4c, today at an event in China. The device will be available in two variants, 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage, and 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage.

The phone sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX258 sensor, phase-detection auto focus, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, along with an 85-degree wide-angle 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
